The Tinker Hatfield designed model has seen several limited-edition releases, with one of those including the “Shanghai” colorway in 2013. It came dressed in a “Black Laney” look, with a Black nubuck upper paired with Blue and Yellow accents.

Earlier this year, another exclusive Retro Jordan 5 dropped as a “Friends and Family” exclusive from Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room boutique, which also included an “Ice Blue” colorway. Inspired by his father Michael Jordan’s actual trophy room in their family home, this alternate pair features a Red suede upper with Black and Ice Blue accents. Only 223 pairs were given to close friends and never made it to retail.
